Admissions
A long-term trade career begins here.
ACADA is a knowledge-first academy for animal care professionals. Every student starts with the Generalist PET Track, then chooses specialty coursework once the foundation is complete. Enrollment is open and self-paced — there is no fixed start date.
Before you start
Have these ready.
The form takes about five minutes if you have the basics on hand.
- Your legal name and email. These are attached to the permanent credential record.
- A phone number. Your advisor needs a way to reach you.
- A 12-character password. Used to log into the student portal.
- A short note about your animal-care background and goals. Two paragraphs is plenty.
After you apply
What happens next, in plain language.
The application form takes a few minutes. Here is what follows, so there are no surprises.
-
1
Your student account is created
You receive an ACADA credential number (format AC-00000) and a portal login. Your account is tied to the legal name and email you submit.
-
2
A welcome email lands in your inbox
Sent from admin@acadapet.com. The email confirms your credential number and points to the first lesson of the Generalist PET Track.
-
3
An admissions advisor contacts you
We reach out by phone or email to confirm membership arrangements and answer any program questions. This is where billing is handled — not on the website.
-
4
You begin the Generalist PET Track
Once you are set up with your advisor, you work through the foundation curriculum at your own pace. Specialty tracks open when the Generalist track is complete.
Ready when you are.
