What This Policy Covers
This policy covers money you pay ACADA for a business membership, and for any other product ACADA invoices you for directly. A customer paying a member business for grooming or other services is outside this policy. That money belongs to the business, and the business arranges any refund.
How You Are Billed
- A business membership is $198 a year for one business license and covers five people. Each person beyond five is $99 a year.
- ACADA sends an invoice by email. The invoice carries a payment link, the period it covers, and a due date.
- ACADA does not store card numbers and nothing charges your card automatically. You pay when you use the link on the invoice.
- The membership year starts on the day your business enrolled. A late invoice does not shorten it.
Before You Pay An Invoice
Tell us you no longer want the membership and we void the invoice. Nothing is owed, and no refund is needed.
After You Pay: The 30 Day Window
Ask for a refund within 30 days of the date you paid, and we refund the full amount to the method you paid with. You do not have to give a reason.
After 30 days, the membership is no longer refundable, except in the three cases below.
Refunds After 30 Days
- We charged the wrong amount. We refund the difference.
- You were charged twice for the same period. We refund the duplicate in full.
- We could not provide the membership you paid for. We refund the period affected.
Additional Seats
A seat added during the year is invoiced for the remainder of that membership year. A seat is refundable within 30 days of payment if nobody has been enrolled against it. A seat can always be removed at renewal, and it will not appear on the next invoice.
Renewals
A renewal invoice is issued for the year beginning on your anniversary date. If you do not want to renew, tell us before you pay it and we void it. If you have already paid a renewal, the 30 day window above applies to that payment as well.
Unpaid Invoices And Lapsed Membership
An unpaid membership lapses. Payments do not carry over to a later year, and a refund is not due for a period that was already covered. What a lapse means for a credential is set out in the Terms of Service.
Contact Us Before A Chargeback
If a charge looks wrong, tell us first. A genuine billing error is corrected faster than a bank dispute, and we will confirm in writing what we found. We do not treat a request for a refund as a complaint.
How To Ask For A Refund
Email admin@acadapet.com with the business name, the invoice number, and the date you paid. We reply within two business days and we tell you the decision and the reason in that reply. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within ten business days of approval.
Changes To This Policy
If this policy changes, the version and date at the top of this page change with it, and the new version applies to invoices issued after that date. A change never removes a refund you were already entitled to on an earlier invoice.
