ACADA membership is held by the business and attaches the people who work in it. If you own, manage, work at, or contract with an ACADA member business, you enter from there. If you work alone, you form your own ACADA business and enter the same way.

Before you start, have these ready.

The form takes about five minutes if you have the basics on hand.

  • Your legal name and email. These are attached to the permanent credential record.
  • A phone number. Your advisor needs a way to reach you.
  • A 12-character password. Used to log into the member portal.
  • The name of the ACADA member business you work at, if you have an invitation code from them.

The application form takes a few minutes. Here is what follows, so there are no surprises.

    Your member account is created

    You receive an ACADA credential number (format AC-00000) and a portal login. Your account is tied to the legal name and email you submit.

    A welcome email lands in your inbox

    Sent from admin@acadapet.com. The email confirms your credential number and points to the first lesson of the Generalist PET Track.

    Your business confirms you

    If you entered with an invitation code, the business sees that you used it and confirms you on their team page. One of their seats is held while that is pending.

  4. 4

    You start the Generalist PET Track

    The Generalist Track is the safety floor, and it is the gate for practical credit in every other Track. It is a working credential on its own, and the Core Tracks open when it is done.
